15th Annual Women of Valor

31st annual Lipinsky San Diego Jewish Arts Festival

Written and Directed by Ali Viterbi

“We laughed, we cried….and we were moved beyond words at this year’s 15th edition of Women of Valor celebrating and honoring the lives of six women with live theatrical readings. The delightful, touching, sometimes comedic and often bittersweet scripts… It was impossible not to give a standing ovation for the performances and to these six women whose outstanding lives call us all to live with courage, joy and purpose.” – “Found: Six Women of Valor at San Diego’s JFest” by Barrett Holman Leak, San Diego Jewish World

A woman of valor, who shall find? The Lipinsky Family San Diego Jewish Art Festival’s centerpiece each year has honored and profiled remarkable women and pillars of the San Diego Jewish community. In every Woman of Valor, we tell stories of strength and inspiration to create a portrait of the resilience of our community. In a time of isolation, we feel that these stories are more essential than ever.

This year, each Woman of Valor will be highlighted in one of six video episodes, premiering online at 7:30 PM on June 11, 14, 16, 18, 21 and 23 on San Diego Repertory Theatre’s YouTube Channel and Facebook Page. The videos will remain available to view online after they premiere.
