This time we are thrilled to bring to life one of Shakespeare’s best beloved comedies – Much Ado About Nothing. This famous comedy features quarreling lovers, misfits, music, a wedding ceremony gone horribly wrong, and pranks and hijinks galore!

Come watch the end result as thirteen brave actors and two very determined directors attempt to stage, rehearse, and perform Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy in just 24 hours! Come witness the hilarity, the insane spur of the moment surprises, so come on out and play with us!

They are the only not for profit bridal boutique in NYC that sells discounted one of kind designer gowns and is a donation center for donated wedding dresses. R+J is set in the border-state of Kentucky in 1863 during the American Civil War. Romeo, son of the former-slave Montague’s, meets Juliet, daughter of the Confederate Capulet’s.

A jealous king tears his family and kingdom apart. Can he repair it with the power of forgiveness and faith in a magic oracle? This is one of Shakespeare’s best works featuring a tyrannous king, a wronged queen, a lost princess, young lovers, a statue come to life – an of course – A BEAR!

This is being presented as part of HSC’s annual “Shakespeare in the Schools Program”. This is a condensed version being presented with a small cast, who are all playing multiple roles.
